Day 1~ o Read “Introduction”, and “Task” (use the Navigation bar on the right side of the computer screen) o Pick up 2 note-card worksheets and “Guided Questions” ~ Lincoln’s Assassination
o Get Group Assignments from Miss Kelton
o Read "Process" together and decide on Group Roles
o Report your Group Roles to Miss Kelton
o Individually, look over the “Guided Questions” ~ Lincoln’s Assassination WK (You only need to look over the questions that correlate with your specific role!)
o Any extra time? Begin to explore Site #1 (Go to "Links" (right side of computer in Navigation Bar), find your role and select Site #1)
Day 2 ~
q Take out “Guided Questions” WK – revisit the questions that you are looking for information on
q Go to “Links” – read and explore Site #1 (right side of computer in Navigation Bar)
q Document ALL of your findings on Note-card #1
q Go back to the wiki-quest; go to “Links” – read and explore Site #2
q Document ALL of your findings on Note-card #2
Day 3 ~
· Take out “Guided Questions” WK – revisit the questions that you are looking for information on
· Go to “Links” – read and explore Site #3 (right side of computer in Navigation Bar)
· Document ALL of your findings on Note-card #3
· Go back to the wiki-quest; go to “Links” – read and explore Site #4
· Document ALL of your findings on Note-card #4
Day 4 ~
ü Meet with your group (at the library tables) – each investigator will take a turn sharing his / her information. (You should each talk for about 5 minutes; total 15 minutes)
ü As a group go back to the computers- check out the “Evaluation” section on the Navigation bar (right side of computer in Navigation Bar) – read and understand the expectations. Print out the rubric for each group member. This will be turned in upon completion of the webquest.
ü Begin creating a script for the pod-cast
Day 5 ~
· Continue working on the script – finish by the end of class
· HOMEWORK: Practice lines for script … you don’t want to sound unrehearsed!
Day 6 ~
Ñ Pick up headphones from Mrs. Mcleod
Ñ In the Novell screen box click on the icon “Audacity”
Ñ Check the Volume! Go to Management- make sure nothing is muted!
Ñ Do an individual test run; practice for about 5 minutes
Ñ PODCAST! Final Podcast is due tomorrow by the half way point of class (about 21 minutes into class). If you are able to get it done today, good for you … if not, no worries, you’ll have time tomorrow.
Day 7 ~
v Pick up headphones / check volume
v Final Podcast due – get it done!
v Select “Conclusion” from the Navigation bar – read (right side of computer in Navigation Bar)
v Self Assess
